Estréia satisfatória do Santos.
O Peixe começou bem a temporada vencendo o fraco time do Guaratinguetá. Fraco esse ano, pois no ano passado o Guará deu muito trabalho, ficando inclusive a frente do Santos.
O time jogou bem e cadenciou a partida após marcar o segundo gol, aos vinte e poucos minutos.
Pra variar o Kléber Pereira marcou os dois gols santistas e quase marcou outros dois, sendo um de cabeça e outro de bico. Realmente os números dele impressionam.
Destaque também para o Luizinho que apoiou bem e fez belos cruzamentos. Lúcio Flávio, que deu a assistência do primeiro gol e realmente é o novo 10 da equipe. Madson correu muito e fez boas jogadas. Marcou a saída de bola e incomoda bastante os zagueiros adversários. Roni também jogou bem. Perdeu um gol feito mas fez algumas tabelas no ataque.
Quem deixou a desejar foi o Triquinho que está visivelmente fora de forma. Ele não conseguiu apoiar em nenhum momento. Nas poucas tentativas, perdia a bola facilmente.
O interessante nessa rodada foram os empates dos badalados São Paulo e Corinthians.
